Mentoring Program

(Proverbs 27:17 –Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another)


The GFBC mentoring program matches one-on-one caring adults to young people in need of educational, emotional, and spiritual growth. The program will be designed to help young people achieve a high level of moral, cultural and social awareness that will enable them to function responsibly in society. In addition, mentors will encourage, nurture and empower young people to establish the love of Christ in their lives.

Mission Statement:

The GFBC mentoring program will enhance moral development, improve academic performance and school attendance, help build strong self-confidence, inspire positive behavior, and eliminate/reduce delinquent activities while enabling young people to be responsible, productive and function in today’s society.

Age Requirement:

8-18yrs old
